PRIVATE SMS / YOUR OWN DOMAIN

Your people.
Your own messenger.

A dedicated place to talk with family, close friends or a small team. Choose your domain, create accounts for the people you trust, and communicate without using Telegram or WhatsApp for those conversations.

START WITH A DOMAIN

A familiar chat. A space you manage.

You manage the messenger's users and their access. Our platform runs the hosting and message delivery behind your domain, so you do not need to install or maintain a physical server.

  1. Buy a domain

Choose an address that is easy to share with your people. Your domain becomes the address of your messenger.

  2. Activate your messenger

Open My domains → Domain settings and choose Private messaging server. Open its settings to manage access.

  3. Invite the people you trust

Create a username, real name and password for each person. Share their login details privately. Messenger accounts do not require an email address or phone number.

  4. Start a conversation

Visit your domain and sign in, or activate an Android plan and add the domain in Private SMS. People on the same server can contact each other by username.

FOLLOW ONE MESSAGE

A delivery queue between two devices.

The server holds a message while it waits for the recipient. Once the recipient's app or browser saves it and confirms receipt, the server removes that message from the delivery queue.

1. You send

Your device keeps your copy and sends the message over an HTTPS connection.

2. The server holds it

The message text is encrypted in the server's temporary queue. It waits if the recipient is offline.

3. They receive

Their device saves the message and confirms receipt. The queued text is then deleted from the server.

Received and saved → removed from the queue.
Delivery confirmation is different from opening and reading the conversation.

If the recipient stays offline

Undelivered messages expire after 30 days and are removed by cleanup. They are not removed immediately after you press Send.

Photos, audio, videos and files

Attachments are stored separately for download and can remain on the server for up to 30 days after sending. Receiving the text does not immediately erase its attached file.

ON YOUR DEVICE

Keep your history close. Clear it when you choose.

Each chat account uses one Android device. Signing in on another phone requires confirmation to disconnect the previous one. While a chat tab is active in your browser, delivery to Android pauses. Hide or close that tab to resume delivery to the app. Messages received in the browser stay there; they are not copied back to the phone.

Your local conversation history

Delivered conversations are kept locally in the app or browser. The delivery queue is not a cloud archive for restoring your complete history on a new device.

Private SMS also includes personal notes for text, photos, recordings and videos. Notes stay on your phone and are not sent to our messaging server.

Clear chats or the whole app

The app's delete menu lets you clear a conversation, all chats, or all app data including connected servers, with confirmation.

This removes your local data. It does not erase the other person's copy, screenshots, exported files or device backups, and it is not a guarantee of forensic erasure.

UNDERSTAND THE PROTECTION

What private means here.

Your conversations use your domain and this service; Telegram and WhatsApp are not the delivery platforms for these chats. Access is limited by messenger accounts, and message text is encrypted while stored in the delivery queue.

The current messenger does not use end-to-end encryption. Our server processes message content and holds the encryption key. A compromised server or stolen account password can expose pending or future messages. We cannot promise that messages are impossible to read, intercept or copy.

Recipients can keep or share anything they receive. Delivery records and account information are separate from message text; attachments have their own retention period. Android push notifications use Google Firebase, so the service is not entirely free of third-party infrastructure.

Use unique passwords, protect your phone with a screen lock, and give access only to people you trust.

CHOOSE HOW YOU CHAT

Start in your browser. Add Android when you need it.

Web chat is included with your domain. Android plans are billed per messenger domain, per year, and apply to the users on that server. Domain registration and renewal are separate.
